Account Manager

          Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA                                             Job type: Remote, FTE
      Salary Range: 90k- 130k

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Client Relationship Management: Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and proactive support.
  • Policy Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of insurance policies, from quoting and binding to renewals and claims assistance.
  • Risk Assessment & Advisory: Collaborate with underwriting and risk teams to evaluate client exposures and recommend customized insurance solutions.
  • Funding-Related Solutions: Work with clients in investment, venture capital, and lending sectors to structure insurance policies that protect against funding risks.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, expand the client portfolio, and drive revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, legal teams, and financial partners to develop comprehensive risk solutions.
  • Market & Industry Insights: Stay informed on trends in intangible asset insurance, finance, and regulatory changes to provide clients with expert guidance.

Qualifications & Skills:
 
  • Years of experience in account management, insurance brokerage, financial services, or risk advisory.
  • Strong understanding of intangible asset insurance, funding risks, or financial underwriting.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative sales approach.
  • Experience working with investors, venture capital firms, or lenders is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and insurance platforms.
  • An Active California Property and Casualty License.
