Responsibilities

  • Participate in formulating the company’s development strategy, providing support and advice on both short-term and long-term strategic planning.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-term accounting and financial goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Develop organization prospects by:
    • Studying economic trends and revenue opportunities.
    • Analyzing organization operations.
    • Identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and system enhancement.
    • Accumulating capital to fund expansion.
  • Improve the company's financial and capital management systems and processes; build an internal control system that meets compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and local statutory, accounting, and reporting standards.
  • Act as a business partner to the management team, offering sound financial and commercial advice for all financial operation matters.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, such as banks, financial institutions, investment bodies, auditors, and officials; expand financing channels and support external cooperation and financing.
  • Develop and implement suitable financing plans, coordinate pre-loan and post-loan management, and achieve financing income targets and credit control.
  • Lead the company’s financial management activities, including cash flow, cost management, budget management, financial accounting, and KPI management, to ensure operational efficiency and profit targets.
  • Improve and coordinate the planning process and establish priorities.
  • Act as the finance lead for ERP system go-live or upgrade projects to ensure successful implementation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including analysis of variances and critical elements impacting results (income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and government agency reports).
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and financial trends to the executive team and make recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and management reporting data.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing variances.
  • Oversee inventory management.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings.
  • Oversee risk management to maintain policy consistency across businesses by supporting legal document reviews (e.g., customer contracts, supplier and partnership agreements, credit assessments) and aligning processes with global standards to minimize commercial and financial risks.
  • Develop and maintain the finance organization, setting functional objectives that align with organizational goals.
  • Build, coach, train, and develop the finance team to enhance competencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ finance experience in the manufacturing industry, with over 5 years of successful finance leadership in a multinational company.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Solid technical skills in US and China GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, with go-live experience from 0-1.
  • Strong strategic thinking, finance planning, analytical, and conceptual capabilities.
  • Extensive network with financing channels is preferred.
  • Proficiency in budget development and forecasting systems.
  • Familiar with manufacturing cost management; experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent management and supervisory abilities.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in cash and net working capital management.
  • Skilled in database and accounting software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Sound negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, willing to take on challenges.
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement, with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with passion and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Experience in global and multicultural environments is preferred.
