Job Description:
The temporary paralegal will work with two complaint resolution coordinators on processing completed discipline determinations on licensed nurses.
Must be a certified Paralegal.

Responsibilities:
The temporary paralegal will work with two complaint resolution coordinators on processing completed discipline determinations on licensed nurses.
Once the resolution of the case is determined, the temp paralegal will complete data entry onto excel spread sheets, sort data, and perform analytics as requested.
They will draft letters that will be sent to licensees, including dismissal letters.
They will transfer cases to prosecution, tracking any additional information as necessary.
Letters and other applicable documents must be electronically scanned as files and the summaries put into electronic folders.
Knowledge of legal terminology and the attention to precise transcription of information is essential.
They must work with a variety of Microsoft Office software, be especially skilled in Excel, including sorting data, designing spreadsheets and plotting data in an accurate, detailed manner.
They must be able to learn new software, including proprietary, quickly and extract data from multiple websites.
They will work with large databases, maintaining both electronic and manual files.
They must be skilled in office equipment such as copiers, printers, fax machines and scanning.
They will answer emails, and it is expected they will requiring minimal direction.
Paralegal level of knowledge is essential. Must maintain confidential information.
Although the expectation is that they perform their duties with minimal direction, they must know when to escalate to one of the CRCs.
Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree required. Paralegal experience and or certification required.
