Job Title: Marketing Account Coordinator
Position Type: 6 months Contract (Has potential to move to temp to perm)
Location: Minneapolis MN
Pay rate: $19/hr on W2
Work hours: 9am to 5pm CST
General Function:
- Our Marketing Department is seeking a Marketing Account Coordinator to work alongside our Marketing Account Managers and in collaboration with our project & creative teams and vendor partners to ensure client specific projects are executed on-time and accurately.
- The Marketing Account Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and full execution of a wide range of marketing and advertising strategies for our marketing program clientele.
- The ideal candidate must have demonstrated the ability to execute multiple projects and excel in a fast paced, results oriented work environment. Additionally, you must have excellent organization, project coordination & campaign management skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page with respect to project status, deliverables & timelines. This position also requires creativity, flexibility, time management skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Major Duties:
- Management of the daily marketing operations and execution of client marketing projects ranging from digital advertising campaigns, content and asset creation, social media, marketing communications, and websites.
- Responsibilities include tracking and timely reporting of results of all marketing initiatives and recommending improvements as necessary to increase the overall success of marketing program efforts.
- Develops and maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise when it comes to best practices in all aspects of our marketing services and deliverables.
- Actively participates in client marketing meetings, particularly status reports on project timelines & deliverables and results sharing.
- Responsible for client satisfaction and flawless execution of marketing program deliverables and ensures all marketing project elements are in alignment with client strategies, brand guidelines and expectations.
- Works along-side Marketing Account Manager to develop detailed marketing plans, timelines and tracking of budgets.
- Models a professional and ethical behavior and maintain a professional appearance.
- Maintains work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition.
- Understands and follows all company and manufacturer's policies and procedures and assures compliance of all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and HIPAA protected information.
- Willingly assists others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain even work load. Cooperates with other coworkers and demonstrates a good attitude. Performs an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required.
- Provides proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
LEVEL OF EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE OR SKILL SET:
- BA or BS Degree in Marketing and 1+ years' marketing, advertising or comparable business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Asana, Salesforce, Dropbox, MailChimp & WordPress preferred.
Physical Demand:
The employee is rarely required to kneel/squat and rarely needed to reach above shoulder. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision. Travel is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record.
