Job Title: Field Service Technician – HVAC & Energy Storage 
Position Type: Full Time
Location: Lancaster, CA
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 USD

Job Description:

  • Perform onsite maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including cabinet air conditioners, heat exchangers, and air-cooled chillers used in energy storage or industrial applications.

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.

  • Accurately document service activities, repairs, and maintenance logs.

  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams in Mandarin to coordinate technical support and problem resolution.

  • Assist with basic installation, upgrade, or retrofitting of HVAC components when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and thermal control systems.

  • Use tools such as multimeters and repair kits for diagnostics and testing.

  • Communicate with Chinese engineering teams to support remote diagnosis and solution implementation.

  • Document service activities and provide maintenance reports.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and support equipment upgrades when required.

  • Drive to customer sites within the Lancaster region.



Requirements:

  • Certifications (Preferred): Electrician license or welding certificate; NFPA 70E and OSHA 10-Hour Construction training certifications are a plus.

  • Driving: Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive independently.

  • Location: Based near Lancaster, CA, with ability to commute to job sites.

  • Basic electrical knowledge (e.g., 480V, 3-phase systems), and familiarity with using multimeters and various repair tools.

  • Prior experience in HVAC servicing, cabinet ACs, or energy-related equipment preferred.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in elevated locations.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
