Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and distinguished Researcher with a strong background in cloud computing and networking to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in designing cloud network infrastructure rather than just building on existing clouds. This technical role involves leading a research team, so potential candidates should have experience in leading a research team or at least have research experience such as publishing papers or holding patents.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for technical planning in the computing network and cloud network domains, with a focus on innovation in computing, cloud, and storage, particularly in high-performance data exchange and network-computing-storage co-design.
  • Accountable for planning technical roadmaps and incubating breakthrough innovations to enhance the company’s technical competitiveness.
  • Conduct industrial and academic technological research to identify innovation opportunities, promote the adoption of innovative technologies within the company, and support strategic technology investment and development.
  • Collaborate with experts and HiSilicon/computing/cloud/storage product lines to drive the integration of innovative technologies into commercial products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and researching cloud network architecture, computer architecture, or high-performance computing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of computing and cloud systems, communication networks, and a track record of leading large-scale R&D projects in related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems, communication protocol stacks, and hardware interconnection architectures.
  • Familiarity with the latest advancements in the industry and academia, coupled with strong curiosity, analytical insight, and a forward-looking perspective on emerging technologies. Skilled at identifying and exploring large-scale innovation opportunities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computing architecture, AI, cloud computing, storage, or related technical domains. Proficiency in one or more sub-domains and cross-domain expertise is highly valued.
  • Theoretical knowledge of accelerators such as NPUs, GPUs, or DPUs is considered an asset.
