We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to define and drive third-party content business. This role is responsible for shaping our content acquisition strategy, managing and deepening publisher relationships, and ensuring that our catalog remains rich, relevant, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive third-party content strategy that supports Epic’s product roadmap, engagement goals, and revenue targets.
- Partnership Development: Build, manage, and grow relationships with publishers, content studios, and other IP holders. Act as the primary liaison for licensing negotiations and renewals.
- Catalog Management: Oversee the quality, diversity, and performance of licensed content. Identify gaps and opportunities based on user engagement data and market trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Data teams to ensure content strategy supports broader company priorities.
Job Requirements:- 7–10+ years of experience in licensing, publishing, content strategy, or related fields—preferably in children’s media, edtech, or digital platforms.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex partnerships and manage external relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Deep understanding of content consumption behavior in digital and educational environments.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Passion for literacy, education, or children’s media is a plus.
