Sustainability Database Coordinator

Project  Overview

The REWS Sustainability team tracks sustainability metrics throughout the global portfolio in two major databases, each with numerous data integrations and connections. You will be responsible for regular maintenance.

 Job Summary

Overall Responsibilities:
The overall responsibilities of this position are to keep the team’s databases, systems and data connections running smoothly to support data collection and analysis. That involves keeping an eye on data quality, updating the systems to stay synced with team processes, and troubleshooting as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement a data quality process (eg: monitoring for duplicates)
  • Adding, updating and deprecating fields, reports, views, page layouts, etc
  • Monitor data connections
  • Assist with bulk uploads and data pulls
  • Track, troubleshoot and escalate bugs as needed
  • Collect and document feedback from users and provide any ideas for streamlining database. Work with database administrator to review and make updates

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of experience in maintaining databases and data quality
  • Experience and aptitude with navigating Salesforce
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in javascript
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools, preferably our client Sheets
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability
  • Ability to learn new software quickly


Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:

  • Sales force administrator experience, and/or Sales force Certified Administrator credential
