Job Summary (Responsibilities and Requirements):
- This role is a strategic partner to Technology and Business leaders, leading end-to-end IT sourcing initiatives with a strong focus on supplier negotiations, sourcing strategy development, and high-value contract execution.
- Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible and deadline-oriented. Numerous, often competing interests must be managed concurrently while negotiating/influencing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing strategy, supplier selection & contract negotiations for IT services/software
- Proven experience leading complex negotiations for IT services and software, including Systems Integrators, Managed Services, and enterprise-scale agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of sourcing and category strategies for IT portfolios.
- Strong background negotiating complex IT Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, SLAs, and commercial frameworks.
- Drive cost savings, efficiency, and supplier performance
- Partner with IT stakeholders for demand planning & risk mitigation
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in IT sourcing /procurement/category management
- Strong experience negotiating large-scale IT services & software agreements
- Expertise in SOWs, pricing models, and vendor management
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
Preferred:
- A postgraduate qualification or MBA
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) / Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation or equivalent is an asset
