We’re a staffing partner hiring on behalf of a leading global clean energy technology company. Our client is a front-runner in the energy storage sector and is expanding its North American team. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated ESS (Energy Storage System) Sales Engineer to support business development and customer success across the U.S. market.

About the Role
As an ESS Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving U.S. market growth for advanced energy storage solutions. You’ll manage key customer relationships, support technical sales efforts, and collaborate across global teams to deliver high-quality energy storage solutions for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow the company's overseas energy storage business in the U.S. market.
Lead pricing strategy and commercial contract negotiations during project bidding.
Coordinate internal teams to support technical quotations, product delivery, and customer expectations.
Manage customer sample requests, monitor order status, and ensure annual sales targets are met.
Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with U.S. clients, including business travel and in-person customer visits as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; international trade or technical background preferred.
Experience in new energy vehicles, battery storage, or renewable energy industries highly preferred.
Prior experience in technical sales, customer engagement, or project coordination within energy or industrial sectors.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong commercial acumen.
Self-driven, competitive, and adaptable with a “hunter” mindset.
Willingness to travel frequently for customer meetings and project coordination.
Professional English proficiency required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required.
Bonus: Prior overseas work experience or experience in automotive parts/ESS sales.

Milpitas, CA — Hybrid (1–2 days onsite/week)
Mountain / Central / Eastern Time Zones — Fully remote (with some roles actively hiring, others on hold)
