Duties:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in
- HRIS and Payroll management.
- Assist in transitioning from the existing Payroll software and implementing the new
- system.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as company
- policies.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, including tax filings, garnishments, benefits
- deductions, and other withholdings.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data and resolve
- discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters in a
- timely and professional manner.
- Manage year-end payroll processes, including W-2 and 1099 preparation and
- distribution.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll-related documentation and
- reports as needed.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is
- preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multi-state
- environment.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, Paychex) and advanced
- knowledge of Excel.
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
