Job Title: Business Development Director (Animal Health)

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Remote

Salary Rate: $180,000 -$200,000
 

Position Overview: We are seeking a self-driven and experienced Business Development Director to expand our presence in the US animal health market. This role will focus on project partnerships as well as growing our CRO/CDMO business through equipment and scientific reagent sales. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the Animal Health sector and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities in the US animal health industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align project initiatives with client needs, ensuring the successful execution of partnerships.
  • Promote and expand domestic CRO/CDMO capabilities, specifically in technical infrastructure, to international clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective account management.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the animal health or biopharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong understanding of scientific equipment and reagents, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into business development strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and develop client relationships in both research and commercial settings.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
