Job Title: Line Locate Screener/Clerk

Pay Rate: $21.47/hr on W2.

Responsibilities Include:
- Complete all duties required in the processing of 811 Line Locate Requests:
- Screen and process incoming line locate requests according to Northern’s procedures
- Review line locates with qualified Northern personnel
- Make initial contact with excavators to confirm scope of work when required
- Make follow-up contact with excavators and schedule on site meetings
- Periodically audit line locate tickets and system for required documentation and accuracy
- Attend annual damage prevention meetings and present damage prevention material to third party excavators
- Other administrative support activities that include but are not limited to answering phone calls, managing visitor traffic, cleaning, and organization of the office, preparing packages for shipping, processing outgoing mail, and ordering office supplies
- Other duties as assigned.
- Complete all primary duties in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and similar programs
- Ability to enter data and complete electronic forms
- Ability to read and interpret maps and directions
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
