Job Title: Senior Manager SEC Reporting
Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Pay Range: $90/Hr. – $93/Hr. on W2

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
The contractor is expected to deliver in the following areas during the engagement period:

Stock-Based CompensationPrepare SBC journal entries, reconciliations, and rollforward schedules; review equity report data; draft ASC 718 footnote disclosures.High
Goodwill & IntangiblesSupport goodwill impairment analysis, intangible asset rollforwards, and related footnote disclosures under ASC 350/360.Medium
Close SupportSupport monthly/quarterly close tasks including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and flux analysis as needed.Medium
Audit SupportPrepare PBC schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and document key judgments and controls for quarterly reviews or annual audit.As needed

Required Qualifications
Credentials & Experience
  • CPA
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience in a public company or supporting public company clients.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or supporting 10-K and/or 10-Q filings end to end.

Technical Accounting Knowledge
  • Deep command of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on expertise in: ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), ASC 230 (Cash Flows), ASC 350/360 (Intangibles & Goodwill).
  • Working knowledge of SEC rules (Regulation S-X and S-K) and PCAOB standards.

Systems
  • Workiva: experience managing SEC filing workflows, tie-outs, and XBRL/iXBRL tagging required.
  • NetSuite: proficient in ledger review, journal entry management, and report extraction required.
  • Equity reporting tools (e.g., Carta, E*TRADE Equity Edge, Morgan Stanley, or similar) for SBC reconciliation preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • CPA
