Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Training Manager to develop, implement, and oversee training initiatives that support our company’s operational needs. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in store employee training, resource allocation, and talent development. This position will play a key role in building and sustaining a strong operational talent pipeline through effective training strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create annual and monthly training plans based on the company's objectives.
  • Assign tasks and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Oversee training data management and course execution (self-operation and joint-operation).
  • Manage external trainers and conduct specialized training, audits, and inspections.
  • Maintain a talent inventory for operational roles (operations managers, store managers, shift leaders, baristas).
  • Drive Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and ensure a strong talent pipeline.
  • Estimate and manage training resources, including trainers, classrooms, and training stores.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet business demands.
  • Organize and deliver key courses, including high-performance store manager training and joint-operation theoretical sessions.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key operational roles.
  • Organize qualification reviews for store personnel and ensure readiness for future business needs.
  • Maintain and manage the company’s LMS to ensure smooth operations and user engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a retail or operational setting.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive training plans.
  • Experience with talent development, including IDPs and succession planning.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to allocate resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in training store employees.
  • Ability to manage and engage external trainers.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking training performance and outcomes.
