Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and reliable part-time Assistant to support the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) in managing daily operations, meetings, and administrative tasks. This role offers flexibility in hours, focusing on handling important documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CSO in scheduling and organizing internal and external meetings, ensuring efficient use of time.
  • Communicate with relevant parties to coordinate meeting times, book meeting rooms, or arrange virtual meetings.
  • Regularly visit the office to collect and manage important documents, ensuring their confidentiality and security.
  • Deliver documents to the CSO or relevant personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assist with routine tasks such as travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, and other administrative duties.
  • Manage the CSO’s email and phone, filtering and handling routine tasks when necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; candidates currently pursuing or holding a degree in a biology-relevant field are preferred.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required.
  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting smoothly with staff at all levels and external contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Work Hours:

Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on mutual agreement.
