Job Description:  
We are seeking an experienced Startup HR Business Partner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role focuses on HR operations, compliance, employee relations, culture building, and internal policy development. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem solver, and strong communicator who can navigate complex HR challenges, handle conflict resolution, and drive team development. This person must be capable of owning responsibilities independently and executing decisions with maturity and resilience, while fostering a culture that aligns with a hacker-driven, innovation-first ethos.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as global employment regulations  
- Manage full-cycle HR operations: onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and leave management  
- Develop and implement internal policies related to travel, leave, compensation, and performance  
- Champion and translate company culture into tangible employee experiences  
- Advise leadership and staff on employee relations and interpersonal conflict resolution  
- Build and manage performance-based compensation and incentive frameworks  
- Collaborate with leadership to develop scalable performance review systems  
- Support future recruitment for both operational and venture portfolios  

Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or technology company  
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulatory compliance  
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and execute in fast-paced environments  
- High adaptability, resilience, and maturity under pressure  
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
- Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional collaboration
