Job Description:

  • Develop sales forecasts for professional salon products using statistical analysis and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve business goals.
  • Focus on setting sales expectations for new launches and promotions.
  • Monitor inventory, report sales, and support business development.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for presenting analytics to Senior Leadership.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Determine product volume needs using historical sales and future promo strategies.
  • Develop forecasts by analyzing sales trends and using statistical models in Excel and Anaplan.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand the impact of product promotions on demand.
  • Align demand projections with cross-functional teams.
  • Present forecast analytics to Senior Leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain ad-hoc demand planning reports.
  • Analyze and adjust strategies based on sales performance.
  • Work with Category Management partners on product sales strategies.
  • Maintain key performance metrics like forecast accuracy, inventory, sales, and margin.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on launches/promotions to Category Management
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margin.
  • Work with Category Management to minimize unproductive inventory.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in planning, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or data analytics.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Strong math and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems and forecasting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player, able to work independently and in a team environment.
