Rate: $21/hr. to $24/hr.
Job Description:
- Manage ocean import processes, including preparing necessary documentation for each shipment, tracking and tracing cargo, updating all systems with shipping and customer information.
- Liaise proactively with customers, carriers, oversea agents/shippers, and internal teams to resolve shipment-related issues, ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
- Review and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, ISF filing, and other required paperwork.
- Monitor filing deadlines and documentation accuracy to avoid penalties, delays or errors in shipment processing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding Industry (NVOCC), especially in Ocean Imports.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and time management skills to meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address customer needs.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to effective follow-up.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
